About EGC

Easton Gymnastics Club was founded in 1984 in Easton Village hall. Starting with 18 members the club coaches worked tirelessly to deliver fun and engaging gymnastics. After years of hard work the clubs coaches and trustees secured a new venue for the ever-growing numbers of gymnasts at Easton College Sports Centre.

The clubs numbers continued to grow with 250 members and a waiting list almost double the size the trustees decided it was time to move again. After years and years of hard work, dedication and fundraising the club moved to Deer Park House in 2015. With help from grants from the National Lottery, Sport England, British Gymnastics and the Post Code Lottery.

Deer Park House was opened in 2016 By Olympic Gymnast Brinn Bevan. A wonderful day of displays and presentation of awards helped the club celebrate its first year in the new purpose built facility, a feat nearly 40 years in the making.

The Club is now thriving, with new equipment and an excellent team of coaches. The original values of the club are still standing: enjoyment, a family environment positive learning experiences and providing gymnastics for all. The club now runs sessions 6 days a week with overt triple the numbers we had at Easton College. After 36 years the club has remained in the small village of Easton and grown from strength to strength.

We welcome members from all over Norfolk, working on key fundamental movement skills of toddlers in our preschool sessions right through to working on strength and fitness of our adult classes.
